Gitty Srinita
Gitty Srinita, born in Sigli, Aceh, embarked on her artistic journey after completing high school in 1991 and studying at the ABA English Department in 1992. Her entry into the film industry came unexpectedly when she portrayed a young journalist in the children’s movie *Don Aufar* (1986). Initially aspiring to become a police officer, Gitty found her passion for acting through her involvement in the film, leading her to pursue formal training with the Pisces Group starting in 1989.
Despite her intention to keep acting as a hobby, Gitty gained significant recognition following her role in *The Devil's Scandal* (1992), where she became known as a compelling actress with a “hot” persona. She expressed a particular fondness for playing eccentric characters, as demonstrated in her role in *Suromenggolo* (1991). Her striking resemblance to actress Lydia Kandau helped her secure a part in *Don’t Tell Who’s Who* (1990).
In addition to her film career, Gitty has made a mark in television, appearing in popular soap operas such as *There Are Only* among others. Her diverse body of work and her ability to captivate audiences have solidified her status as a notable figure in the Indonesian entertainment industry.
