Jenn Nawada
Jenn Nawada is a prominent landscape designer recognized for her contributions to the popular PBS shows This Old House and Ask This Old House, where she provides viewers nationwide with practical and innovative landscaping solutions that enhance both beauty and functionality.
With a career in landscape design and construction starting in 2001, Jenn has successfully operated her own design-build firm for over ten years. Her work as a residential landscape designer emphasizes creating sophisticated, stylish, and natural environments that foster deeper connections between people and their surroundings. She oversees various large and mid-sized projects in the Boston area, collaborating with some of the region's finest professionals to ensure each project’s success.
Jenn made her debut as a Landscape Designer on the This Old House Auburndale project in 2010, partnering with Roger Cook to develop a garden that harmonized with the natural riverside habitat. She expanded her role with Ask This Old House in 2015 and became the official Landscape Contractor for This Old House in January 2020.
Academically, Jenn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Rollins College and a Master of Arts in Landscape Design and Land Use Planning from the Conway School of Landscape Design. A Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist since 2004, her prior experience includes serving as lead designer at a Boston design firm and working in environmental education. Jenn resides in a historic early 1900s home in the Boston area with her husband and their two sons.
